Pathways
Everyone will have a pathway during their work career which starts whilst you are at school. This will look different for everyone, but it is good to have a idea of what different options are available for you.
Whilst at West Coventry Academy you will follow the pathway below, helping to find your personal career pathway.
Options
The first pathway decision comes when you choose your KS4 Options. Look at our KS4 Options page. This page gets updated yearly for Year 9 to show what options will be available in Year 10.
Apprenticeships
An apprenticeship is a paid job where the employee learns and gains valuable experiences. You may choose to take an apprenticeship at the end of Year 11, or take a higher level apprenticeship at the end of Y13.

T-Levels
T Levels are an alternative to A levels, apprenticeships and other 16 to 19 courses. Equivalent in size to 3 A levels, a T Level focuses on vocational skills and can help students into skilled employment, higher study or apprenticeships.
