Free Bus Passes Applications

Coventry City Council issue free bus passes to students who meet the criteria set out in the Coventry Travel Assistance Policy.  A link to the policy and application form can be found at  https://www.coventry.gov.uk/info/61/schools_and_schooling/756/school_travel_passes

Behaviour

High standards of behaviour are expected at all times to ensure safety when students are travelling on buses.  We know that the majority of students behave well on the journey to and from school, but sometimes the behaviour of a few can make the journey unpleasant or dangerous for others.  The behaviour of students will be monitored by the bus driver and any unacceptable behaviour will be reported to the school, this may result in disciplinary measures such as restrictions being placed on the student and their use of school transport.

To ensure that everyone stays safe, the following behaviours should be adhered to:

  • When leaving at the end of the day, queue safely at either Nutbrook or Tile Hill Lane and wait for staff to direct you onto your bus
  • Keep the bus tidy by taking your litter home with you
  • Be polite to the driver and do not do anything to distract him/her
  • Stay in your seat and keep noise to a minimum
  • Look after your belongings and don’t forget to take all of your belongings with you when you get off the bus
