Joining our Sixth Form

Thank you for considering an application to join West Coventry Academy Sixth Form.

We hold an Information Evening every year where you get chance to explore our subjects and chat to our Sixth Form Team. This years event was held on the 14th November. Didn’t attend? Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

6th Form External Induction Day – Wednesday 9th July 2025.

For all external students who have applied formally for a place at WCASF AND replied to our correspondence we would like to invite you to join us for an induction day at WCA on Wednesday 10th July. The day will start at 9.30am so please arrive from 9.15 and make your way through to the 6th form common room. There is no need to wear your old school uniform, casual dress is fine. During the induction day you will receive key information, meet the tutor team, go on a tour, spend time with our current year 12 students, and receive your summer transition work which will set you up for as great start in September. The day will finish at 12.00, please ensure you have arrangements in place to get home.

Application Induction Day Information – Thursday 10th July 2025.

We would like to formally invite all students who have applied for a place at WCASF to join us for a 6th form induction day at WCA on Thursday 10th July. The day will start at 10am so please arrive from 9.45 and make your way through to the 6th form common room. There is no need to wear school uniform, but we advise you wear (or bring) trainers as we will be doing some activities outside. Please bring snacks and lunch as you will be onsite over lunchtime with your day finishing at 2.30. During the induction day you will receive key information, meet the tutor team, be part of team activities along with receiving your summer transition work which will set you up for as great start in September.

If you didn’t originally apply for 6th form, we will be enrolling people after a short interview on GCSE results day in August for those who meet our published entry requirements (available on website) for both the 6th form and subjects. If you haven’t applied but your exams have gone well, and you now wish to attend the induction day please email staffsxn@westcoventryacademy.org so we can have a further conversation with you.
