Enrichment Programme

Our extensive programme is designed to assist in the development of transferable skills and qualities necessary to progress to higher education or within employment.

We aim to equip students with the leadership skills to enhance employment and potentially provide students with an insight into possible career progression routes.

All Year 12 students are offered the opportunity and encouraged to undertake a leadership role for a minimum of one lesson per week. In some cases it might be a whole morning or afternoon as some students take the opportunity to arrange their enrichment off site – for example at a local primary school, football training, coaching swimming, volunteering in a charity shop or helping in a local care home.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is committed to keeping our students safe, both in school and the wider community. As part of our safeguarding arrangements, we have a two-way information sharing agreement in place with the local police authority. The agreement is compliant with Crime & Disorder Act 1998 (s.115) and Data Protection Act 1998(s.29.3; s.35.2.), and focuses on preventing young people from becoming involved or further involved in crime and anti-social behaviour as a victim or offender.
