E-Safety
Students learn about the safe and positive use of new technologies and social media in a range of ways: as part of their ICT lessons, during themed weeks (e.g. “Safer Internet Day”), on PSHE Days and in assemblies. We regularly share relevant links through our social media channels to keep parents up to date and informed. Please take a moment to look through some of the websites and resources below and get in touch if you would like further training or information on specific topics.
“According to the 2024 Ofcom report into media attitudes among children and their parents, a third (32%) of 8-17 year olds reported seeing something worrying or nasty online in the past 12 months.”
